JOHNSON CONTROLS Inc. is an American company specializing in equipment for auto and air conditioning systems. It was created in 1885 by the inventor of the thermostat.

Currently, JOHNSON CONTROLS is considered as an industrial and technological leader in more than 150 countries and has a workforce of over 162,000 employees. Its turnover is estimated at USD 40.8 billion.

Several products are manufactured by the group, mainly consisting of seating systems, pavilions, door panels, dashboards and vehicle electronics for the automotive industry, as well as starter batteries, "Stop and Start" vehicle batteries and batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles.

In line with its strategy of international development, the group created in 2005, Johnson Controls Tunisia in the industrial area of Borj Cedria, in the governorate of Ben Arous with a workforce of about 540 employees.

The Tunisian company specializes in the manufacture of displays and dashboards for automobiles as well as electronic cards and other electronic components.
