Tunisia Presents its Investment Opportunities to Portuguese Companies

The Tunisian Embassy in Lisbon and the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade organized a Tunisian-Portuguese Economic Forum. The forum was organized on 22 July 2019 at AICEP headquarters in collaboration with FIPA-Tunisia office for Spain and Portugal.

This event, inaugurated by the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Portuguese counterpart, was an opportunity to present the Tunisian experience in economic reforms with its different dimensions and its positive impact on the business climate and the trust of its partners.

In this sense, the Director General of FIPA-Tunisia presented the incentives and facilities granted by the new investment law highlighting the potential of high value-added economic activities, innovative projects and growth sectors as well as the partnership opportunities in renewable energy, water and waste treatment and food industry. He also presented the cross-cutting legislation on investment.

Working meetings were held between FIPA-Tunisia representatives and AICEP leaders to share experiences and set up a work plan by concretizing the agreement signed in 2015 between FIPA-Tunisia and AICEP.
