FIPA-Tunisia at the COP28 in Dubai

Technological innovation and green entrepreneurship in Tunisia” was the topic of the Side Event held on December 2, 2023 at the Espace de la Francophonie at COP28,

organized by the Ministry of the Environment-Tunisia, GIZ Tunisia, FIPA-Tunisia and CITET Tunisia.

The event was inaugurated by the Tunisian Minister of the Environment, Ms. Leila Chikhaoui, through a video that highlighted the importance of innovation in the fight against climate change. Institutional presentations were held to demonstrate the efforts undertaken by Tunisia for sustainable development and the fight against climate change and were followed by presentations by representatives of start-ups among the most innovative in Tunisia in terms of the fight against climate change.

For her part, the Representative of FIPA emphasized the role of the Agency, the investment opportunities in Tunisia and the contribution of FIPA in sustainable development and environmental protection through wealth creation, employment and regional development on the one hand and the attraction of FDI in sectors with high added value and the environment on the other hand. For its part, FIPA-Tunisia will continue its efforts to promote FDI in Tunisia with a particular focus on the environmental sector.

FIPA-Tunisia actively contributed with all the parties in the selection of Tunisian startups that participated and gave an excellent impression on their innovative solutions in terms of respect for the environment and the fight against climate change.
