Financial transfers to Tunisia reached 5.8 billion dinars at the end of June 2023, <\/span>juin 2023, contre 11,6 milliards de dinars au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente,compared to 11.6 billion dinars during the same period last year, <\/span>according to the bulletin of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) on financial indicators n\u00b0 223.<\/span>\u200bDuring the entire year 2022, these transfers were of the order of 19.1 billion dinars.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

\u200bThe President of the Republic<\/span> Ka\u00efs Sa\u00efed<\/span> made an unannounced visit yesterday Friday to the headquarters<\/span> of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), and stressed the imperative of better controlling the control <\/span>of financing to Tunisia.\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n

The indicators of the issuing institution also show an increase in the value of <\/span>current transactions at 44.1 billion dinars, during the first half of 2023, <\/span>which are composed mainly of commercial transactions and tourist recipes <\/span>as well as labor income, compared to 38.9 billion dinars during the <\/span>same period of 2022, registering a significant increase of 5.2 billion dinars <\/span>(11,8%).<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

This situation explains a control of the balance of payments deficit which did<\/span> not exceed 1.8% of gross domestic Product (GDP) at the end of July 2023,<\/span> according to the latest data from the BCT Board of Directors held on September 7.<\/span><\/p>\n
