The German group DACHSER is expanding its presence in Tunisia

22/10/2026

DACHSER has announced the construction of a new 6,000 m² logistics centre in the Sousse region, reaffirming its development strategy in Tunisia, where it is celebrating 40 years of operation.

This project follows on from a €2 million investment made in 2025 to modernise the IT systems and strengthen the operational capabilities of its Tunisian subsidiary.
Established in the country since 1986, DACHSER now employs 136 staff and operates two interconnected sites, totalling 15,000 m² of floor space. Its activities primarily support the automotive, aerospace, electronics, pharmaceutical and textile industries.

The group operates regular road transport services between Tunisia and 35 European countries, supplemented by air and sea freight solutions to key international markets. Its global network comprises nearly 400 branches across more than 40 countries.
The planned new office in Sousse aims to strengthen the group’s proximity to Tunisia’s industrial hubs and to meet the growing needs of exporting businesses.
“With this new investment, we are reaffirming our confidence in Tunisia’s potential and our commitment to supporting its long-term growth,” said Frédéric Diot, Country Manager at DACHSER Tunisia.
